MICHAEL KNUTSSON APPOINTED TO SOLIDICON’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

AB has announced the appointment of industry veteran Michael Knutsson to the company’s board of directors. Michael was elected by the founders of Solidicon and will serve as advisor to the company.

Michael Knutsson is presently CEO of Knutsson Holdings AB, board member at TCS John Huxley Group, Victoria Holdings Ltd., chairman of the board at KL Capital AB and board member at TouchTable AB. In his past, Michael was co-owner in Ladbrokes Nordic (Sponsio Ltd.) and CEO of Knutsson Casino AB which later merged with Cherry Casino.

Solidicon AB is a privately held corporation based in Sweden, a game developer and inventor of products for the gaming industry. Solidicon’s main focus is to design, develop and produce groundbreaking casino games. Solidicon was founded in 2006 by P-A Gustafsson (CEO), Jonas Wikström (Creative Director) and Daniel Hansen (CTO), three game developers with over 10 years of industry experience. During the years, Solidicon has developed a game engine and gaming platform with the capacity to show detailed 3D environments in real-time. Their technology also makes it possible to show endless number of outcomes for game events, such as virtual horse racing. Furthermore, it allows casino operators to customize the game’s payout level and offers dynamic in-game advertisement spots for casino branding. Solidicon’s games are currently being distributed by TCS John Huxley and IGT (International Game Technology), two of the world’s leading distributors of casino gaming equipment.
